Grand Hyatt Tokyo announces new summer menu. This year's focus is on the "Ice Burger"!

May 16, 2016

Grand Hyatt Tokyo will offer a variety of burgers, including an ice cream burger and a Brazil-inspired burger, a hot topic this summer. The Oak Door, a steakhouse that dynamically prepares fresh ingredients in a wood-burning oven, will be offering the "Ice Burger" (2,200 yen), a new sweet burger featuring a chewy bun and cold ice cream, from July to August. The burger features raspberry ice cream sandwiched between chocolate-covered brioche, topped with strawberries, blueberries, and other fruits and custard cream. The side dish is a crispy cinnamon-flavored pie resembling French fries. In August, the restaurant will introduce the "Brazilian X-Turbo Burger" (2,200 yen), inspired by Brazil. The burger features a generous topping of mozzarella cheese, ham, bacon, fried egg, crispy potatoes, tomato, lettuce, and more, all served with mayonnaise and vinaigrette. Furthermore, in September, they will be offering the "Chili Cheeseburger" (2,200 yen), which is filled with cheddar cheese, corn chips, and spicy chili sauce.

Also, Fiorentina, where you can enjoy dishes from all over Italy using seasonal ingredients, will be selling a new product, the "Fiorentina Cheeseburger" (2,300 yen), which uses an original rosemary-flavored focaccia bun made from semolina flour used for pasta. The inside is topped with mozzarella cheese and caponata, and can be enjoyed with two sauces: homemade pesto and basil mayonnaise. Zucchini and potato fritters will be served as a side dish.
