
Grand Hyatt Tokyo will be serving up summer-only cool sweets starting in July.
All-day dining French Kitchen, which offers stylish arrangements of bistro cuisine, will offer the "Paris Summer Glace" (1,600 yen), which uses different ingredients each month. In July, they will be selling the "Watermelon and Lime Granita," which is made by shaving sparkling wine and watermelon juice on ice and enjoying it with white wine jelly. In August, they will be offering the "Peach and Vanilla Granita," which is made by shaving sparkling wine and peach juice on ice and adding vanilla beans, and in September, they will be offering the "Grapefruit and Honey Granita," which is made by shaving sparkling wine and ruby grapefruit juice on ice and adding honey. Fiorentina, where you can enjoy Italian cuisine made with seasonal ingredients, will be offering "Summer Vegetable Ice Cream" (1,100 yen) from July 1st to August 31st, featuring tomato, edamame, and corn ice cream served in a hollowed-out tomato cup. It's topped with a syrup made from tomato compote with white wine, vanilla, cinnamon, and anise, and lychee liqueur jelly. "Summer Fruit Gelato" (1,500 to 1,800 yen) will also be available. Also available: "Uji Kintoki Shaved Ice" (800 yen), topped with Uji sauce made with plenty of homemade matcha and plenty of kintoki sweet potato, will be available from July 1st to August 31st at Shunbou, a Japanese restaurant. China Room, a Chinese restaurant, will be introducing a new menu item: "Mango Shaved Ice" (1,800 yen), made with shaved mango ice and topped with carefully selected fresh mango.
