Tommy Bahama Ginza and Yokohama stores hold Hawaiian event featuring post-acai "pitaya" sweets

Aug 2, 2015

American lifestyle brand Tommy Bahama will be holding "ALOHA DAYS," an event offering a Hawaiian resort atmosphere, at its Ginza and Yokohama stores from August 7th to 9th.
The brand's concept is "Make life one long weekend." During the event, you can enjoy music and food that are full of Hawaiian atmosphere and feel like you're on a resort trip.
At the Ginza store, customers will receive a complimentary Hawaiian drink of Malibu Pineapple or coconut iced coffee as a welcome drink. On Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the popular Hawaiian beer "Kona Beer" (300 yen) will be sold, limited to 30 bottles per hour.
In addition, a live jazz night will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Hawaiian-inspired dishes include the "Lobster Sandwich" (2,160 yen, tax included), made with a whole lobster tail, and the "Mango Pitaya Parfait" (1,200 yen, tax included), made with pitaya, a popular Hawaiian superfruit that replaces acai. Meanwhile, the Yokohama store will host a ukulele live performance on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Customers who bring a fan, distributed at the entrance to LaLaport Yokohama, will also receive a free gift of Waiola coconut water, a popular Hawaiian brand, or an original tattoo sticker. During the promotional period, the first 100 customers to spend over 20,000 yen at both the Ginza and Yokohama stores will receive a free tote bag with an original print. Registering your email address in-store will also give you 10% off all items.
