Introducing tea cocktails made with "sacred plants" at a limited-time bar opening at H.P.DECO

Aug 3, 2015

BAR BELLOCQ will open inside H.P.DECO, an interior design shop in Jingumae, Tokyo, on Fridays and Saturdays only in August.

BAR BELLOCQ is reminiscent of the Indian state of Goa. It was inspired by the No. 30 Ashram Afternoon blend tea from BELLOCQ, a tea brand based in Brooklyn, New York. The blend tea is made by adding herbs and spices to the sacred plant Krishna Tulsi, and the shop will serve the Orange Ashram Afternoon cocktail, which combines No. 30 Ashram Afternoon with Cointreau and amaretto.

Other tea cocktails available include a blend of hibiscus with cinnamon and lemongrass, one with ginger, mint, and black currant leaves, a blend of white tea with lavender and grapefruit, and a blend of Darjeeling tea with jeniper berries and Douglas fir leaf tips.

Alcoholic drinks include Brooklyn craft whiskey Kings County Distillery and Ise-Shima craft beer Shinto Bakushu. All alcoholic drinks are priced at 500 yen (tax included), with Belloc's blended tea being free. Opening hours are Fridays and Saturdays in August from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
