Limited-time frozen mango cocktail available at Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel

Jul 31, 2015

From August 1st to 31st, Bello Bistro, the Towers Bar at the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel in Shibuya, Tokyo, will be serving "Swing Tropics" (2,257 yen), a frozen vodka cocktail made with mango fruit. Named after the word "Bello Bistro" (meaning "beautiful view") in the Maur language, which is said to be the bar's homeland in Senegal, Bello Bistro is surrounded by dramatic views of Tokyo Tower and Mount Fuji. Featuring a talented bartender who has competed in international competitions, Bello Bistro offers a wide selection of wines, as well as a variety of fine spirits and cocktails from around the world. Each month, Bello Bistro features a cocktail that captures the flavor, aroma, and freshness of seasonal fruits. The August "Swing Tropics" is a masterpiece created by bartender Mariko Uchida. The cocktail is based on the orange-flavored vodka "Grey Goose Orange," and is enhanced with elderflower liqueur, mango, and passion fruit. Finally, it is topped with a snowy sprinkle of coconut milk and milk, and finished with mandarin orange bitters to give it an alcoholic kick.
