
New York brand Jason Wu will release a Japan-exclusive capsule collection. Designer Jason Wu has designed seven items for the Japanese market: three tops, three skirts, and one dress. Enjoy a world of feminine luxury with Jason Wu's signature colors and materials, including a lightly draped pink and black polka-dot print blouse, a black and white tweed check skirt, and a chiffon dress with a pink and black flower pot print. Prices range from ¥98,000 to ¥138,000 for blouses, ¥60,000 for cut-and-sew tops, ¥80,000 to ¥130,000 for skirts, and ¥180,000 for dresses (all prices excluding tax). The collection will be available at renowned select shops and department stores nationwide from early July. Jason Wu was born in Taiwan and graduated from Parsons School of Design. He has since based his career in New York. He presented his first collection in 2006, and made headlines when First Lady Obama wore one of his dresses to a ball in 2009. His talent has been highly praised, and he was awarded a Fashion Award by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) in 2010.
