Nike Air Max updated. Engineered mesh makes it lighter and sleeker.

Jan 10, 2013

An updated collection of Nike's signature high-tech sneaker, the Air Max, has been released. The shoe features an engineered mesh finish without compromising the iconic look. By using a fine mesh in areas requiring durability and a coarser mesh in areas where breathability is key, the Air Max, which boasts excellent breathability, durability, and flexibility, is now lighter and sleeker. Four models will be available starting in January: the Nike Air Max 1 Premium EM, Nike Air Max 90 Premium EM (¥13,650 each), Nike Air Max 95 Premium EM, and Nike Air Max 97 Premium EM (¥16,800 each). A new Air Max image movie featuring Japanese motifs such as Mount Fuji, the Shinkansen, and the sounds of the Famicom is now available.
