Jean-Paul Hévin's first street-level flagship store opens in Kyoto! Limited-edition menu including white miso macarons

Oct 22, 2016

Jean-Paul Hevin will open its first roadside flagship store on Sanjo Street in Kyoto (27 Nakano-cho, Sanjo-dori Tominokoji Higashi-iru, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City) on October 25th.

The store's concept is "a la parisienne (Parisian style)." Accented with the latest Jean-Paul Hevin fashion, as befits a French chocolatier, the store will create an authentic, charming, and exciting "Paris in Kyoto." The store will include a "Cave à Chocolat" space selling chocolates, macarons, and gateaux, as well as a "Bar à Chocolat" eat-in space where customers can enjoy chocolate chocolates and other treats on the spot.

In addition to classic and new products, the store will also offer a variety of flavors unique to Kyoto. Limited-edition sweets will be available, including macarons and mousse au chocolat made with Honda Miso Honten's white miso, and sables and madeleines made with Ippodo Tea's matcha. Other items available include Evan's salon de the menu, which pursues high quality even in savory recipes, "Croque Monsieur," an Evan-style adaptation of a classic French recipe, and "Quiche," which adds a French touch to Kyoto vegetables.
