The theme of Emilio Pucci's AW14-15 collection is "CALL OF THE WILD," drawing inspiration from the decorative cultures of ancient Native Americans and Inuit peoples. Intricate beading, armor-like studded dresses atop prints, and bold, geometric leather cutwork create a wild and energetic mood. Meanwhile, 1970s silhouettes—wide-leg pants, open shirts, slim-fitting long jackets, and long jersey dresses adorned with gold chains—create a chic, urban vibe. Velvet jacquard fabrics from the prestigious Italian house and an intricate fur collage of lustrous pony and mink furs showcase Pucci's signature craftsmanship. For evening wear, the collection featured light chiffon long dresses, as well as mini dresses and velvet tuxedos lavishly decorated with metal chains and beaded fringe, all paired with lace-up sandals with stiletto heels or deerskin boots.
