A remix of "Last Night, Good Night (Re:Dialed)," the theme song for Takashi Murakami's film "Jellyfish Eyes," has been released. The remix was created by Pharrell Williams, and Murakami himself served as the general director of the music video.
"Jellyfish Eyes," released in 2013, is the debut directorial work of contemporary artist Takashi Murakami. It is a sci-fi fantasy that blends live action and CGI. The film is currently on a nationwide screening tour, visiting eight cities in the US, with screenings scheduled in Dallas, Boston, Seattle, Washington, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco.
To commemorate this lavish tour, which includes venues such as the Ace Hotel in LA and Lincoln Center in New York, Pharrell, a close friend of Murakami, has remixed the film's theme song, featuring livetune feat. Hatsune Miku. The PV is also spectacular, featuring not only Hatsune Miku, but also Pharrell himself, kz from Livetune, and even a character version of Takashi Murakami.
