It has been revealed that virtual idol Hatsune Miku will be the opening act for Lady Gaga's world tour. Gaga herself announced this on Twitter.

On April 15th local time, Gaga tweeted, "My favorite pop star, Hatsune Miku, will be the opening act for 'The ARTPOP Ball' from May 6th to June 3rd!" She also posted a video of Hatsune Miku performing live, asking fans to see just how cute she is.

Lady Gaga kicked off her world tour, "The ARTPOP Ball (LADY GAGA'S artRAVE: the ARTPOP ball)" on May 4th of this year. She is also scheduled to perform in Japan for the first time in about two years at QVC Marine Field in August.
