Maserati has unveiled a Levante Trofeo customized by Massimo Bottura, Maserati brand ambassador, born and raised in Modena, and a star of the Italian culinary scene. The result, created by these two Emilia natives, exceeds all expectations: a car that embodies limitless creativity, freedom of expression, and the vividness of life.
The Levante, Maserati's first SUV, is a versatile model that unleashes powerful imaginations. The top-of-the-line Trofeo model delivers the performance, driving pleasure, and speed delivered by its 580 hp V8 engine. The exterior of the Fuoriserie Blue Stradale is adorned with splashes of multicolor, which are also found on the interior inserts, center console, and dashboard, making this a Maserati that explodes with creativity from every angle.
Massimo Bottura's vision of this car is like an action painting, born from driving the Levante off-road. Growing up in Motor Valley, he and his brothers would often explore the Emilian countryside in vintage cars. At the end of those adventurous days, the car's body would be covered in mud and bear what the chef affectionately calls "race scars." Life is like that: each individual is the protagonist of their own adventure, changed by their experiences, shaped by their encounters, strengthened by their victories and defeats, and colored by the vibrant colors of their culture. And in the end, we remain ourselves, yet become something different. To take this lesson to heart, Massimo Bottura made it a habit to not wash the mud off his car for days after off-road races. This special Levante Trofeo is the result of the Maserati Fuoriserie customization program. Here, the car becomes a tailored garment, a way to express oneself and take to the road as a symbol of modern luxury. In Maserati Fuoriserie, a blank canvas is prepared, and Maserati provides the tools to paint. What is painted there is left to the customer's creativity and inspiration. Maserati offers three basic collections - Corse, Unica and Futura - to allow customers to find the perfect combination from thousands of possibilities. The Corse, Unica and Futura collections express the power and value of Maserati, combining sportiness, elegance and innovation. This program offers a wide range of content for each of the Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante series. New exterior paints and liveries, wheel and brake caliper colors, and even cabin combinations with different stitching and interior layouts are now available for order. The new MC20 supercar also offers a wide range of color variations and paintworks to customize its exterior. The Fuoriserie collection will continue to expand, including the addition of the Sartoria line, which caters to completely bespoke requests.
The Levante Trofeo Fuoriserie Edition by Massimo Bottura will be unveiled at Motor Valley Fest 2021, taking place in Modena from July 1st. This model embodies the creative concept shared by the Maserati Fuoriserie program and Massimo Bottura: a creativity that embraces diverse experiences, a sensitive appreciation for beauty, and a willingness to discover one's true self through encounters with others along life's journey.
