Modern luxury with dark accents. Bentley introduces the GT Mulliner Black Line

Dec 22, 2021
Introducing the Mulliner Black Line Specification for the Bentley GT and GT Convertible. This popular exterior option is now available across the entire Bentley range.

Black Line features Mulliner's expert craftsmanship, replacing exterior chrome with black accents, adding a bold, dark look to this class-leading, ultra-luxurious four-seater Grand Tourer. Black Line also enhances the wide range of customization options available to customers.

Crafted by Mulliner's skilled artisans, the GT Mulliner Black Line offers a distinct exterior aesthetic from the latest GT Mulliner and GT Mulliner Convertible, offering a contemporary take on the pinnacle of luxury for the ultimate GT. Demand for black brightware is growing, with Black Line now covering 38% of the Continental GT range.

In Black Line, all exterior brightware is black, except for the Bentley winged "B" badge, and the radiator grille bezels are also black. The upper mirror caps on the GT Mulliner are finished in satin silver, while on Black Line they are finished in a lustrous black "Beluga." The distinctive Mulliner matrix wing vents are also blacked out, leaving only the "Mulliner" logo to shine. The radiator grille, with its black accents and light outlines, continues its deep, black design and flows into the black lower bumper grille.

The GT Mulliner Black Line features 22-inch wheels with black painted rims and a chrome ring on the self-levelling badging. Mulliner black wheels with a contrasting polished "pocket" will also be available as an option soon.

The GT Mulliner Black Line inherits the luxurious and captivating interior of the GT Mulliner. Choose from a virtually limitless range of Mulliner colours, or choose from eight three-colour combinations recommended by Bentley, based on a wide range of leathers and stitching.

The interior comes standard with the Mulliner Driving Specification, showcasing Bentley's signature "Diamond in Diamond" quilting on the seats, doors and rear quarter panels, beautifully enhanced by contrasting and accent stitching. Approximately 400,000 stitches are applied throughout the cabin, with 712 stitches per diamond, each precisely aligned to the centre of the diamond - a feat of exceptional craftsmanship within the automotive industry.

Engine options may vary by region, but are available with a choice of two engines: Bentley's iconic 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 (635 PS) or a dynamic 4.0-litre V8 (550 PS). Both models offer the effortless performance you expect from a top-tier Grand Tourer, allowing you to enjoy long-distance driving.

The addition of Black Line to the GT Mulliner series not only offers discerning customers the ability to tailor their vehicle to their exact specifications, but also further solidifies Bentley's position as the leading manufacturer of luxury sports tourers. Simply put, Black Line is the world's finest luxury coupe, with a contemporary twist.
