Blue Bottle Coffee Japan LLC (headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo) will be releasing "Coffee and Milk Cream Shaved Ice" in collaboration with Konnyaku Sushi and Shaved Ice KON in Nishihara, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo on July 1, 2021, for a limited time and in-store only.

Blue Bottle Coffee will be offering shaved ice for the first time on its cafe menu this summer. The collaboration is with "Konnyaku Sushi and Shaved Ice KON", produced by embroidery artist Moko Kobayashi. The restaurant offers "adult shaved ice," combining fresh seasonal fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices with ice that melts smoothly in your mouth and a marriage of exquisite ingredients that stimulates all five senses in one dish. The fluffy ice is shaved using a custom-made shaved ice machine, with the shaving depth varying depending on the layer. The sauces and flavors of the ingredients added to the multiple layers create constantly changing tastes and textures, making the shaved ice delicious to the last bite a favorite with many guests year-round. The "Coffee and Milk Cream Shaved Ice," created in collaboration with Blue Bottle, uses coffee syrup and salted caramel sauce made with Blue Bottle coffee, with candied orange peel and nuts as secret ingredients. This shaved ice pairs perfectly with coffee, revealing new surprises and new flavors with each bite. Enjoy a relaxing conversation and a comfortable moment to forget the summer heat.
