Marche Écute Kanda Manseibashi will be hosting its annual summer beer event, "Beer Arch: Red Brick Arch, Trains, and Craft Beer at the Old Manseibashi Station," from July 19th to September 16th. This event allows you to enjoy a beer while admiring the quaint red brick viaduct and trains passing by. The event originated from the fact that the Manseibashi Station area was once home to many beer halls, and this year marks its fourth year. Over 100 types of craft beer from around the world will be gathered at the event space, Tatamarimai. International beers from around the world, such as America's Lagunitas and Scotland's BrewDog, will also be available, along with select domestic beers from Nagano's Oraho Beer and Kanagawa's Sankt Gallen. Additionally, a variety of food will be available every two weeks to accompany your beer. The menu will feature "fish" from July 19th to 31st, "snacks" from August 1st to 14th, "pickles" from August 15th to 28th, and "meat" from August 29th to September 15th.
Hitachino Brewing Lab has teamed up with Kiuchi Brewery, the makers of Hitachino Nest Beer, which has a large fan base mainly in Europe and the United States, to offer a monthly rotating selection of original craft beers exclusive to Marché Écute. July will see the introduction of "HANAYAGI ver. 2.0," an even more powerful version of last year's popular "HANAYAGI." August will see the introduction of "SUZUYAKA," a beer with a stronger carbonation and satisfying taste. September will see the introduction of "HOUJYUN," a beer brewed in wine barrels with a rich aroma and fruity flavor.
Hitachino Brewing Lab's "Hitachino Beer Truck" will also be available in South Corridor, with a lineup of five beers available at all times, with a different lineup depending on the day. There will also be a takeaway service for some of the food menu items from the permanent Chef's Kitchen Studio "#51", and exclusive Chinese tapas created especially for Beer Arch by the former head chef of Joe's Shanghai New York Ginza, who now works at the shop. Other plans include craft beers that are rare even in permanent shops, and one-plate menus exclusive to Beer Arch.
