Fred Perry will release a collaborative collection with Art Comes First on August 6th. Art Comes First is a creative unit formed by Shaka Maidoh, a stylist and fashion consultant, and Sam Lambert, a former Savile Row bespoke tailor. The team launched in London in the AW13 season. Based on Fred Perry's piqué shirts, this collaborative collection combines Art Comes First's signature modern tailoring with classic, sharp details. The piqué shirts are available in two colors, white and black, and the white version features a contrasting black laurel wreath embroidery and the Art Comes First label. Additionally, the track jacket and Harrington jacket feature different materials for the body and sleeves, and feature a patch embroidered with the laurel mark and Art Comes First logo on the right sleeve.
The products will only be available at Fred Perry's street stores in Tokyo and Osaka, online shop, and a limited number of other shops.
