UNIQLO will release its sixth collaboration with fashion model and designer Ines de la Fressange, the 2016-17 Autumn/Winter collection, on September 9th. This season's theme for the Ines collection, a fashion icon synonymous with Parisian chic, is "Paris in the 1960s, a time of fashion change." The collection features 70 items based on three motifs: "Classic & Elegance," "Chic & Noir," and "70s Style & Rock." This season's core colors are a first for the collection: gradations of gray, including charcoal and dark gray. Trendy accents include vivid blues and reds, as well as deep loden green and cognac. Combined with Ines' signature navy, the collection creates a rich, expressive Parisian chic. Enjoy a style that exudes elegance yet a sense of openness and vintage vibe. "Classic & Elegance" embodies the elegant and sophisticated bourgeois style that has always been a dream of women. It features refined cashmere knit ensembles in peacock blue and vibrant red, reminiscent of Godard's films, tailored jackets in velvet and tweed, shirts with soft standing collars and ruffles made from supple rayon, straight-leg pants with beautiful silhouettes, and a trench coat with a hat reminiscent of Catherine Deneuve. "Chic & Noir," a simple yet distinctive fashion style, offers unique pieces that reinterpret traditional workwear long beloved by Parisians with beautiful piping and vintage-inspired prints. The lineup includes chester coats, dark-colored ponchos, and knit jackets. "70s Style & Rock" mixes motifs from different cultures and tastes. The collection will feature items overflowing with the free-spirited feel of the 1970s, such as earth-toned corduroy shirts, flared pants and miniskirts, flannel shirt dresses, and mohair argyle knitwear in vibrant color blocks, as well as trendy items such as varsity jacket-style blousons and chunky knitwear.

Available at select Uniqlo stores and the Uniqlo online store. The second collection is scheduled to be released on October 21st, and the third collection on November 11th. A special collection floor will also be open on the 12th floor of the Uniqlo Ginza store from September 9th to 28th.
