Gucci will release the 2016-17 Autumn/Winter collection of its GG Marmont handbag.

The GG Marmont handbag was inspired by the belt buckles used by Gucci in the 1970s and features the double G detail, one of Gucci's signatures.

The new GG Marmont style also features the GG motif as its main ornament. It has also evolved with a softer structure and a wider range of styles, from three sizes of shoulder bag to tote bag and camera case-style mini bag. It has been updated with practicality, featuring interior zip and open pockets, and all models come with brass chain shoulder straps adorned with leather details.

The materials used are calf leather and velvet. The smooth calf leather models feature chevron and cubic quilting, while the cubic quilted leather models are adorned with studs. The bags are available in a wide variety of colors, including black, mystic white, hibiscus red, pink intense, yellow, fuchsia purple, peacock green, and dark emerald green. A unique combination of black and mystic white is also available. Some chevron quilted bags also feature quilting with a heart or GG design on the back.
