Manolo Blahnik opens first store in Japan at Matsuya Ginza! Also available at Shinjuku Isetan and Hankyu Umeda

Aug 22, 2016

Manolo Blahnik will open its first store in Western Japan on the 4th floor of the Hankyu Umeda Main Store on August 24th. It will also open its first shop-in-shop in Japan on the 2nd floor of Matsuya Ginza on August 26th. Each store will offer a wide range of new items for the AW16 season, including popular classic series. One of the themes for this season is "art," with colorful and playful items inspired by the sculptures of Pablo Picasso and the abstract paintings of Kazimir Malevich. Another theme, "Inuit," will include items that incorporate indigenous details such as arrow-like triangular motifs and sheepskin lining into Manolo Blahnik's signature modern style.

The shop-in-shop opening at Matsuya Ginza will be developed by Nick Racesmith Architecture & Design with an entirely new concept that offers an exciting and innovative interpretation of "Japanese craftsmanship." In addition, from August 24th to September 6th, a pop-up will be held in the women's shoes/promotion section on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku, after which a new permanent corner will be set up on the same floor and the products will be available.

In addition, all three stores will be giving away signed drawing cards (*limited quantities) on a first-come, first-served basis to customers who purchase shoes or bags.
