Aug 29, 2016

The ARK Hills Autumn Festival 2016 will be held from September 16th to 18th at ARK Karajan Square in Akasaka, Tokyo.
A large stage will be erected at the venue, and a traditional Bon Odori dance will be held, allowing visitors to experience Japanese culture. A selection of quintessential Bon Odori songs, including Tokyo Ondo and Roppongi Ondo, will be enjoyed by people of all ages. The annual popular event will also feature a children's portable shrine and float parade around the perimeter of ARK Hills. Numerous game stalls will be set up around the venue, offering games like target practice, yo-yo jacking, and ring toss.
In addition to ARK Hills, this year popular restaurants from ARK Hills South Tower and Sengokuyama Mori Tower will also be participating, bringing a total of 12 gourmet food stalls to ARK Karajan Square. The menu will include hearty meat dishes like the dynamic Spanish-style sandwich (¥600) from Valenciana Bar Bricho, a bar that opened in March this year, the meat bun (¥400) from Chinese restaurant Chen Mapo Tofu, and the smoked beef pastrami burger (¥800) from Bubby's New York Ark Hills. Other items include single-item menus like Taco Rico's chicken tacos (¥300), Dean & Deluca's hot dogs (¥400), Wolfgang Puck Pizza Bar's pizza (¥400 for one slice, ¥1,000 for three slices), and Ark Hills Cafe's takoyaki (¥400). Luxury dishes like "Autumn Mushroom Chili Oil Noodles" (¥800), "Sujiyaki" (Grilled Tendons) (¥700), and "Trippa and Chickpea Tomato Stew" (¥500) will also be available at more affordable prices than dining in the restaurants.

In addition, various events will be held during the event that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike, such as a first-of-its-kind hand-held fireworks display, live performances of a variety of traditional instruments including Japanese drums, and workshops where you can experience traditional Japanese culture. In addition, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the opening of ARK Hills this year, the ARK Hills Neighborhood Association's Oshinko, which has grown alongside the town, will be exhibited for the first time in the office entrance lobby for about 10 days leading up to the event.
