LUGHA debuted in Fall/Winter 2015 with the concept of "clothes that speak to the wearer." Now in its third season, Fall/Winter 2016, the brand welcomes a new Japanese designer, presenting a collection that combines materials and techniques from across Japan. Styled by Ayaka Endo, this season's collection evokes a nostalgic yet fresh worldview. This season, LUGHA offers a selection of pieces that make striking use of lace and velour, key materials of the season. The collection also continues to offer essential pieces for LUGHA styling, including the brand's signature knitwear and pants with distinctive silhouettes. The collection also features a wide variety of items featuring lace, a key material. The midi-length skirt (36,000 yen), which can be layered with pants, features a feminine silhouette made with generous amounts of lace. The camisole dress (39,000 yen) also features bold lace detailing on the skirt. The dress (49,000 yen) with a unique silhouette that mixes lace materials is perfect for the start of autumn and winter, and has a dreamy design that evokes a sense of travel.

The white daisy pattern is also an unforgettable motif. Daisies with a nostalgic feel are embroidered on the chest of the denim stand-collar jacket (59,000 yen), created in collaboration with a factory in Okayama, Japan's leading denim production area, and on the denim made from the same fabric (39,000 yen). This daisy motif appears on several items, including a long dress (49,000 yen) and a bow tie blouse (36,000 yen). The director commented, "I aimed for a fresh cuteness, like when you go back to your parents' house and open your mother's closet after a long time, and a sense of 'learning from the past to discover the new' - exploring the old and learning from the new. Even for knitwear and shirts, I chose longer lengths and relaxed silhouettes. Even for items with modern silhouettes, I chose small details like buttons that convey the careful craftsmanship of the pieces, hoping that people would interpret 1970s fashion with a modern sensibility." This season's LUGA collection, which brings out the wearer's individuality while teaching the joy of layering and mixing old and new, evokes the same excitement of opening grandma's closet in your hometown and encountering nostalgic yet new pieces.
