Jun's beach house, Café de Rope La Mer, will open on the 6th at Isshiki Beach in Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture. Hours are 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM (until 10:30 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays). The shop was designed by General Design, the same firm behind Saturdays Surf NYC in Daikanyama. While retaining its white-based exterior, the space has been expanded to 1.5 times its usual size. The shop is divided into four main areas: a table area, a bar area, a sofa area, and a relaxation area. Weather permitting, you can even see Mount Diamond Fuji at sunset. The menu features spicy dishes, Mexican grilled corn, and other dishes made with Hayama vegetables. Drinks include Chateau Jun's limited-edition barrel-aged Koshu wine, which was introduced in JAL's international business class service last year, and mint mojitos. A variety of events will be held mainly on weekends, including an acoustic live performance by Fujiwara Hiroshi on the 28th, a yoga workshop on the 7th, and a beach party on August 3rd by Soccer Junky, a label created in collaboration with a sports apparel brand by JUNMEN and JUNRed.
