DIESEL will serve as an official supporter of the outdoor music festival "BIG BEACH FESTIVAL '13," which will be held in Makuhari, Chiba on the 1st of next month.

Tickets (10,500 yen) with a mix CD produced by festival DJ SEKITOVA, and original collaboration T-shirts (two colors, black and white, 3,500 yen) will go on sale at major Diesel stores nationwide from the 13th. An area produced by Diesel will also be set up at the venue on the day.

Big Beach Festival is a party that carries on the tradition of "BIG BEACH BOUTIQUE," which was held by Norman Cook (aka Fataboy Slim) in his hometown of Brighton, England in 2001 and 2002 and attracted a record 250,000 people. In 2009, it was held at Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, and since 2010, it has been held at a special venue in Makuhari Beach Park. This year's lineup includes Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx, Erol Alkan, and the half-Japanese, half-British DJ Maya Jane Coles, among many others. Participating artists from Japan include Shinichi Osawa and Tomoyuki Tanaka of FPM.
