Y's has released bags and pouches in collaboration with Mexican bag brand dutzi. The lineup includes three items: a recycled tote bag made from jute and cowhide (with a mini pouch, ¥44,100), a recycled pouch made from the same material (¥12,600), and a hand-knitted bag made from 100% polyester (¥39,900). Made from recycled jute coffee bean bags, the bags are all handmade, with the logo hand-embroidered. They are available at Y's stores and the recently revamped S'YTE WEB SITE. Dutzi was founded by German designer Ariane Dutz after she encountered unemployed women on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula and wanted to support their lives. Last month, Yohji Yamamoto revamped its official online store, s'yte, into a comprehensive web shop called S'YTE WEB SITE. In addition to the online-only casual brand s'yte, the shop also carries special items for the Y's web shop, books, and special Yohji Yamamoto goods.
