A talk event on yukata featuring SU, the MC of the hip-hop group RIP SLYME, and stylist Yoshiro Kawai, who is also a kimono enthusiast, will be held at the Isetan Shinjuku store's 7th floor kimono department from 2:00 PM on July 28th.

This event is part of the "Isetan Yukata Selection 2013" yukata event, currently being held on the same floor. SU and Kawai hold a talk show every year, and this year's theme will be "The Future of Japanese Summer and Yukata." The two formed the "SuRow-ha" unit in 2011, whose design and production activities "evoke the DNA of the Japanese people."

The "Isetan Yukata Selection 2013" will expand the venue to include both men's and women's yukata. Yukatas from brands such as Mina Perhonen, Anna Sui, Namatsuan, and Quruli will be available, along with yukata-related items ranging from accessories to geta sandals, folding fans, and bags. Other events include advice on makeup to match your yukata and a demonstration of how to tie the thongs on geta sandals. The event will run until the 29th.
