It has been announced that Alexandre de Brettes will assume the role of new CEO of Christopher Kane, effective September 1st. This marks the first major change since Kering acquired a 51% stake in the brand in January of this year. A French national, de Brettes joined the French consulting firm KPMG in 1990. After working in auditing and financial consulting, he joined Kering in 2002, where he served as Deputy Director of Financial Communications and later as Director of Financial Communications and Market Research. Christopher Kane and his sister, Tammy Kane, the brand's creative director, commented, "Alexandre's experience at Kering is invaluable to the brand. He understands the brand's unique vision, so we wanted to work together. We hope to grow the brand with a global perspective while preserving its unique creative style."
