Creator Expo Tokyo, where approximately 600 creators from a variety of genres, including writers, illustrators, designers, and photographers, gathered to exhibit and conduct business negotiations, is being held at Tokyo Big Sight until the 5th.

This is the second year of the event. Compared to last year's first event, which featured 363 exhibitors, this year's event will see a significant expansion, with approximately 600 exhibitors, 1.7 times the number. Organized by Reed Exhibitions Japan Co., Ltd., the event will be open from 10:00 to 18:00, and admission is 1,200 yen.

There are 10 categories: "Authors/Writers," "Manga Artists," "Illustrators," "Designers," "Video/Animation/Games," "Picture Books," "Photographers," "Calligraphers," "Art," and "Music." Creators from each field will be divided into their own exhibition zones, where they will set up individual booths to display their works and solicit work from various companies.

Creator EXPO Tokyo is also one section of a complex event that includes the 20th Tokyo International Book Fair, the 17th Digital Publishing EXPO, the 3rd Licensing Japan, the 1st Production EXPO Tokyo, and the 1st Content Production & Distribution Solutions Exhibition, all of which are being held at the same time. It is a large-scale annual event where companies from the media, including publishing, newspapers, advertising, printing, IT, television, film, video, and games, gather at Tokyo Big Sight to gather information and negotiate business deals.

Reed Exhibitions Japan commented, "We have already received many inquiries about exhibiting next year from creators who were unable to exhibit this year, and we are planning to increase the number of slots to 700 next year, an increase of 100 people."
