May 1, 2013

"Interior Lifestyle," an international trade fair showcasing lifestyle ideas from Tokyo to the world, will be held at Tokyo Big Sight for three days from June 5th to 7th. 661 companies from Japan and overseas will exhibit. As always, eight special zones will be featured, including "TALENTS," featuring young people under 35 from Japan and overseas, and "NEXT," supporting companies founded eight years ago or less. In addition, "JAPAN STYLE" will be a special atrium event. Designed around the theme of "Super Ennichi," the space will feature a lineup of design products showcasing traditional Japanese techniques and designs. Directed by interior designer Yukio Hashimoto and others, the event will feature 45 Japanese brands, including "Magic Touch Japan," which prints on a variety of items; "Ueda Sangyo," which utilizes traditional Japanese paper processing techniques; and "Kamawanu," which produces gauze handkerchiefs.

Interior Lifestyle is Asia's number one international consumer goods trade fair, bringing together high-end interior and design items, trends, and key figures from Japan and abroad to propose new lifestyles. Last year was the largest ever, with 652 exhibitors from 38 countries and 26,485 visitors.
