Premier Vision Pluriel, an international textile and fabric trade fair, will open in Paris, France, on February 12th. This year's event will feature a total of 1,736 exhibitors, a 12% increase from the February 2012 event. Forty Japanese companies will be exhibiting, including knitter Morishita Knitting Factory (Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture), print-focused Kokka Co., Ltd. (Chuo Ward, Osaka City), and tsumugi (pongee) manufacturer and retailer Nishiyama Sangyo Co., Ltd. (Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture). The popular "Knitwear Solutions" area, first established in September 2012, will also feature a new version, bringing together 24 companies from around the world, including Italy, Portugal, and Spain. Various events, including debates and trend seminars on sustainable fashion, are also planned. Additionally, French sneaker brand Bensimon, which has exhibited at the exhibition for 25 years, has collaborated with long-established Portuguese fabric manufacturer Riopele to design the uniforms for the exhibition staff.

Following the exhibition, Première Vision will be held in countries around the world, including Brazil, Russia and China.
