Harry Winston reopened its Ginza flagship store (1-8-14 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) on October 15th. Since its opening in Ginza 1-chome in 2000, the Ginza flagship store has sold a wide variety of jewelry and timepieces as its flagship store for approximately 14 years. The newly renovated store, now expanded to 517 square meters, adds a modern twist to the brand's traditional style. The store's interior, which incorporates the architectural style and design elements of the Harry Winston flagship store on New York's Fifth Avenue, is based on a pale taupe and gray color scheme, and features custom-made black lacquer and antique bronze-colored furniture, chandeliers, and wallpaper with hand-beaded accents. The first floor offers a wide variety of bridal collections, including engagement rings and wedding rings featuring the finest diamonds. The second floor is stocked with iconic diamond jewelry, high jewelry, watches and other items that embody the brand's worldview.
At the opening ceremony held on the same day as the opening, actress Yoshino Kimura appeared wearing jewelry worth a total of 2.9 billion yen. In an elegant dress that exuded grace, she made the most of the jewelry, and commented, "This is the first time in my life that I've worn such wonderful jewelry, so I'm very excited."
