Dior is releasing a photo book, "Dior: New Looks," which unravels the history of the house through the works of leading photographers.
From the past to the present, Dior has always expressed the splendor of the house's creations through the vision of various leading photographers. This book tells the history of the house from 1947, when the New Look was born, to the present day, alongside works by leading photographers such as Richard Avedon and Jérôme Gauthier.
The lineup includes Richard Avedon's legendary photograph "Dovima with Elephants," Willy Vanderperre's aerial shots of Raf Simons' creations, Cecil Beaton's photographs of Mitzah Bricard, and Jean-Baptiste Mondino's photographs of Marion Cotillard. The book includes a variety of rare works, ranging from iconic pieces to deeply personal shots.
