Neal's Yard Salon Offers Astrology-Inspired Treatment Beauty Treatments

Jul 3, 2015

For a limited time until August 31st, the Omotesando salon of Neal's Yard Remedies, a British organic skincare brand, (2F, 5-1-17 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) is offering a beauty treatment incorporating herbal astrology.

The human body is closely linked to natural cycles, with women's menstrual cycles and skin turnover cycles coinciding with the rhythm of the moon. For this reason, the concept of herbal astrology, which uses celestial movements to diagnose and treat illnesses and prescribe botanical therapies, was prevalent in England, the birthplace of aromatherapy, until the 16th century.

The salon offers the "Twinkle Lucky Star Treatment," a customized treatment based on herbal astrology and incorporating essential oil blends for each of the 12 zodiac signs. Experienced aromatherapy and herbalist staff will use a Venus-related essential oil blend to enhance love and communication, bringing out each individual's unique charm.

Prices are 13,000 yen for a 90-minute facial, 14,000 yen for a 90-minute body, and 21,000 yen for a 150-minute facial and body.
