The first collaboration collection between Italian leather goods brand HENRY CUIR and mina perhonen will be released on December 8th.
Mina Perhonen's designer, Akira Minagawa, has long been a fan of HENRY CUIR, and Henry Beguelin, the designer of HENRY CUIR, also felt a connection with Akira Minagawa. The concept of the collaboration collection, which brings together the passions of these two designers, is "Aventure de printemps - In Search of Spring," inspired by the adventures of "Dog" and "Choucho" who set out on a journey in search of the yet-to-be-seen spring. HENRY CUIR's leather goods are handcrafted stitch by stitch by artisans in an Italian workshop, and are breathed new life into them using fabrics from mina perhonen, which is renowned for its textiles.
The collection consists of six bag types (priced from 118,000 yen to 265,000 yen), three sizes of pouches (priced from 28,000 yen to 34,000 yen), two wallet types (priced from 63,000 yen to 81,000 yen), and one charm type (priced from 15,000 yen). A textile featuring the embroidered "choucho" pattern has been created exclusively for this occasion, and each bag comes with a newly created embroidered charm featuring a dog and a butterfly (available only at directly managed stores). The collection will go on sale from December 8th at all Henri Quir stores and some directly managed minä perhonen stores.
