Based on Dr. Martens' classic GRYPHON model, this model features a thick sole. Details like the Y's x Dr. Martens 10-eye boot embossed in a sandal design, along with all-black hardware, create a sense of volume and weight characteristic of Y's. The "Y's" logo is branded onto the heel strap, adding a playful touch to the back style. Despite the thick sole, it is flexible and the outsole and footbed are made of urethane rubber to reduce the sole's weight.
