The full details of the Japan-exclusive collection, which also features apparel, will be revealed at the "Y's x adidas" pop-up store, which will be open for a limited time from February 15th to 21st at the Isetan Shinjuku store, before being released at Y's stores nationwide from March 1st. A "Y's x adidas" pop-up store will also be open at the Isetan Urawa store from March 1st to 7th.
The striking cactus flower designs featured in the collection were created by Kyoto-based designer Fumihiko Hayashi, a close friend of Y's, and are applied to the clothing using a special print that creates a three-dimensional effect by partially bleeding the pigment, or by embroidery.
The vibrant cactus flowers, classic shapes and colors, and the three stripes and Trefoil motifs of traditional sportswear brands—all of which are iconic and unique—appear in active, modern silhouettes that exude a classic weight.
