EBISU PREMIUM GLAMPING 2016, an event offering a glamping experience, will be held at Yebisu Garden Place for 16 days from April 23rd to May 8th. Glamping is a portmanteau of glamorous and camping. It refers to a new type of camping that offers luxurious and comfortable services in a natural environment. Circus Outdoor, currently a hot topic in the glamping scene for its unique worldview, is in charge of producing the space for this event. Tents with luxurious furniture will be set up in the main center plaza, and visitors will be able to preview the glamping tents on weekdays. There will also be a pop-up shop tent featuring four popular shops in Ebisu, as well as a wooden deck cottage inspired by a cottage. Various events will be held on holidays and during Golden Week. On April 23rd, WAXPOETICS JAPAN FES 2016 will be held, the first music event sponsored by Wax Poetics, a popular music magazine planned and edited in New York and boasting a worldwide circulation of approximately 100,000 copies. On April 30th and May 1st, GOWEST WEEKEND, a cultural event hosted by GOWEST, a 20-year leader in the organic music scene in Ebisu, will be held. A glamping dinner limited to 12 people will be held in a glamping tent set up by ASPULND, a select furniture shop in Ebisu. Inside the glamping tent, you can enjoy menus from Tokyo's most popular restaurants. On April 23rd and 24th, Kitchen Watarigarasu, hosted by Chef Murakami, a popular traveling chef in Ebisu, will be the host, while on May 3rd, TAIHIBAN, a popular restaurant in Kichijoji that advocates "Life in Peace," will be in charge. On May 4th, there will be a full-course Wagyu beef dinner prepared by TOKYO COWBOY, a Wagyu beef specialty store in Yoga that cuts meat to order, and on May 7th and 8th, you can enjoy food prepared by beef concierge Shunichi Muto, who presides over the mysterious meat event "Mutoniku," which is held guerrilla-style in Tokyo.
