Nissin Cup Noodles' new commercial, "Samurai in Brazil," has been released. It stars freestyle football player Kotaro Tokuda, who explores free expression using a soccer ball.
Wearing armor that is heavier than a helmet and restricts visibility, Tokuda performs in parks and on the streets of Brazil. He performs his signature move, the "Tokura Clutch," in which he catches the ball between his legs while doing a backflip, earning applause from the cast and staff.
Born in Ehime Prefecture in 1991, Tokuda, known as "Tokura," began playing freestyle football at the age of 13. At the age of 17, he won the 2009 Red Bull Street Style Japan Final and advanced to the world championships. In 2012, he became the first Japanese and youngest world champion at the RBSS World Final Italy.
