
La Maison du Chocolat, a luxury chocolate shop in Paris, is offering two new cream puffs exclusively for the spring/summer 2016 season. The limited-edition cream puffs are double choux, a small cream puff inside a richly filled choux. The main and mini choux are filled with two different creams, and the choux is baked with a layer of cookie dough, resulting in a crispy texture. The "Choux au Chocolat" (725 yen) is a cream puff topped with gold leaf powder and filled with chocolate chantilly mixed with small chocolate particles. The mini choux is filled with melting chocolate cream. The "Choux Praline" (725 yen) is a cream puff with a main choux dusted with powdered sugar and a praline mousseline mixed with finely crushed almonds. The mini choux is filled with smooth praline cream.
Available at La Maison du Chocolat Marunouchi, Aoyama, Matsuya Ginza, Roppongi Hills, and New Man Shinjuku stores, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays only.
