
From September 11th to 30th, DECADE, located on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku, is hosting a pop-up event titled "Cinema Trench/Catherine Deneuve," featuring the trench coat, a key item in Deneuve's iconic film, "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg." The event will feature an original coat featuring Deneuve as the muse, part of Keita Maruyama's DECADE-exclusive line, "Keita Maruyama D-Line." The shop also carries dresses, coats, music, videos, and books inspired by 1960s fashion. Catherine Deneuve was born in Paris, France in 1943. In 1964, her signature work, "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg," won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival, catapulting her to global stardom. In 1992, she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in "Indochine." In 1998, she won the Best Actress award at the Venice Film Festival for her role in Place Vendôme.
