Sogo & Seibu is introducing a new, independently curated import store called "COMPOLUX." To meet the diverse needs of modern women, the store proposes incorporating luxury imported clothing as life-size, real clothes. The first store will be located on the third floor of Seibu Shibuya B Building in late October, with expansion to flagship stores planned. The store will emphasize customer service that transcends brand boundaries, allowing customers to pair tops and bottoms, or innerwear and outerwear, with the freedom of a truly independently curated store. The store will carry 20 trendy New York-based brands, including CARVEN, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Theyskens' Theory, rag&bone, 10 CROSBY, and Acne, which will be introduced next spring/summer, as well as several miscellaneous goods brands. The store fixtures and environmental design were handled by the design group "nendo" led by Sato Oki.
