On October 11th, Laforet Harajuku will open a pop-up store on the first floor: "Uggla Scandinavian Selects," a shop by the e-commerce site "Uggla" that brings together Scandinavian and Icelandic brands (until the 20th), and "ahcahcum," which will be opening its first Tokyo store (until the 17th).
Uggla's shop will showcase popular Northern European brands, mainly from Iceland and Scandinavia, that have yet to arrive in Japan. Brands rarely found in Japan include Finnish brand "Sasu Kauppi," Berlin Fashion Week Grand Prize winner "Tom Van Der Borght," Greenland's "Bibi Chemnitz," and brands from Denmark and Iceland.
ahcahcum is a fashion brand created by designer Masako Shinyama, based on the concept of coexistence between young girls and adult women. The pop-up shop will offer items such as a T-shirt (7,350 yen) created in collaboration with illustrator Higuchi Yuko, a dress (23,100 yen) with a bisque doll printed all over the front and back, a beret with a doll wig (7,350 yen), and a skirt (16,800 yen) embroidered with delicate beads on tulle. On October 12th, illustrator Higuchi Yuko will be doing a live painting session, and will also be providing an illustration service for purchased items.
