An exhibition celebrating the release of Swedish photographer Lina Scheynius' new photo book will be held at Cottage by OPTITUDE (5-4-41 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo) in Tokyo's Aoyama district from October 4th to 14th. The newly released photo book, "05" (3,990 yen), is her fifth self-published collection, self-edited and compiled into a collection of self-portraits, capturing moments of casual everyday life with friends and loved ones. The exhibition will feature a slideshow of photos from "05," as well as her previous works, including "01" through "04," all of which are not for sale and are now hard to find. Lina Scheynius was a leading Swedish supermodel before turning to photography. He has been self-taught in photography since the age of 10, and has worked mainly for Another Magazine, Dazed & Confused, and Vogue. His first solo exhibition in Europe was held at a gallery in Switzerland at the end of August this year.
