Marcelo Burlon's limited edition record and T-shirt box set (100 sets worldwide) on sale at Isetan Men's

Nov 21, 2015

A limited edition box set of Marcelo Burlon's 12-inch record, USB, slipmat, and T-shirt will be available for purchase at International Creators on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building from November 21st. Priced at 90,000 yen, it's limited to 100 sets worldwide. The music downloads began on November 16th, and despite the music market's sluggish sales and downloads, these luxury pieces, characteristic of Marcelo Burlon and sure to stimulate collectors, have gone on sale in Tokyo. This project, the first music media item from Marcelo Burlon County of Milan, was announced as "Gualicho," in collaboration with DJ and music producer Davide Squillace, whose music was featured in the brand's 2016 Spring/Summer women's collection.

This album was created in collaboration with Marcelo, who has a background as a DJ, and Davide, who runs the record company "This And That Lab." The special box contains a USB stick containing a digital mix, a 12-inch record with a picture disc, a turntable slip mat, and a limited edition T-shirt.

The music is tribal techno house. The T-shirts and slip mats feature graphics that mix the brand's iconic wing motif with techno motifs, creating a tropical finish.

Davide Squilacce was born in Siena, Italy, and grew up in Naples. He visited Japan in June 2010 and played as a DJ at Chiba's Big Beach Festival.
