From November 25th to December 8th, PORTER CLASSIC will be holding a pop-up event called "SASHIKO LOVE" on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building, focusing on sashiko.

At the event, Porter Classic's representative, Katsuyuki Yoshida, will focus on the traditional Japanese sashiko technique. Sashiko is a traditional Japanese embroidery technique in which geometric patterns are sewn into layered fabric for warmth and reinforcement.

One-of-a-kind sashiko items will be available at the venue, including the "VINTAGE SASHIKO DOUBLE JACKET" (500,000 yen) and "VINTAGE SASHIKO TAILORED JACKET" (500,000 yen), as well as new standard series items such as the "PC SASHIKO DOUBLE JACKET" (110,000 yen), "PC SASHIKO VEST" (84,000 yen), and "PC SASHIKO SHORTS" (72,000 yen). During the event, a customization service will be offered, where a seamstress will add your desired initials or embroidery, as well as a "braiding experience workshop." (November 28th, 29th, December 5th, and 6th; 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 6:00 PM each day. On the 28th, due to a talk show, the event will close at 5:00 PM; participation fee is 5,400 yen including tax.) Also on November 28th, "Happy Hour at Isetan Men's: Talk Show with the Yoshidas and Guests" (7:00 PM to 7:45 PM) will be held, featuring guest Hiroshi Fujiwara. According to the store, those wishing to participate in the talk show will need a numbered ticket, which will be distributed at 10:30 AM on November 28th at the main entrance on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building. (After 10:30 a.m., tickets will be distributed at the store on the first floor of the Men's Building until the remaining number is reached.) On December 4th, there will also be a "First Friday: Porter Classic and Fan Interaction Event" (6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.).
