The "Nutcracker Christmas Dessert Fair," inspired by the classic ballet "The Nutcracker," will be held at the Marble Lounge on the first floor of Hilton Tokyo from November 6th to December 25th.
The fair is inspired by the story of "The Nutcracker," in which a young girl and the prince transformed from the "Nutcracker" she received as a Christmas gift visit various kingdoms. Thirty Christmas sweets inspired by two distinct kingdoms, the "Snow Kingdom" and the "Sweet Kingdom," will be offered.
The "Snow Kingdom," with its white base accented with silver and blue, will feature sweets such as the "White Christmas Buche de Noel," made of coconut mousse wrapped in vanilla sponge cake and topped with coconut flakes, and the "Hazelnut Lemon Cookie," a crescent-shaped cookie with icing. A romantic, silvery world is created with snowflakes and sugar art Christmas trees. The "Kingdom of Sweets," featuring gingerbread houses and macaron trees, offers a wide variety of traditional European Christmas sweets. Authentic Advent and Christmas treats are available, including panettone, fruit-based baked goods like Christmas pain de jène, and Christmas stollen. Takeout Christmas cakes will also be available, including new treats like the "Chocolate & Caramel Christmas Log," a pecan-flavored brownie encased in milk chocolate mousse and drizzled with salted butter caramel, and the "Chestnut & Rum Raisin Shortcake." Other treats include Christmas hot chocolate, hot wine with five spices, and bite-sized baked treats like maple and peanut scrunchies. At the action station, guests can enjoy freshly baked treats like cold marble ice cream and Christmas pudding flambé. During the event, the entire lounge, not just the buffet table, will be decorated with Christmas decorations, and a 6-meter Christmas tree will be back again this year. One step into the lounge and you'll feel as if you've wandered into a Christmas fairyland. The fair will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, and the price is 3,600 yen per person and 2,200 yen for children.
