From November 25th to December 1st, Isetan Shinjuku is hosting a collaboration event featuring SOMETHING, a women's denim brand developed by EDWIN, and four stylists. The event, titled "SOMETHING Presents MODE MEETS JAPAN DENIM!", will showcase "new denim styles" created in collaboration between SOMETHING and Numero TOKYO editor-in-chief and fashion director Kyoko Tanaka, stylists Shino Suganuma, Yoko Miyake, and Tsuyoshi Noguchi. Kyoko Tanaka will coordinate a bowtie ruffle denim blouse (¥33,000) with marine-style tucked wide-leg pants (¥28,000). The denim-on-denim set creates a look with a 1970s vibe. Shino Suganuma will showcase a combination of a large denim jacket (¥40,000) and vintage wide-leg pants (¥28,000). A men's XXXL size denim jacket worn like a coat and men's-like baggy pants complete the adult street style.
Miyake Yoko proposes a new denim combination by introducing a front button midi skirt (25,000 yen) that adds a playful touch to a basic denim box skirt with fringe.
Noguchi Tsuyoshi proposes an edgy style with skinny jeans in low-waist slim (25,000 yen) and high-waist slim (25,000 yen) varieties. While the jeans have an extremely slim straight line, they are also comfortable to wear thanks to the material's kickback and stretch.
