"Fun to Share! —Let's Enjoy Garlic!" will be held on the second floor of Kihachi Aoyama Main Store in Aoyama, Tokyo (2-1-19 Kita-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo) from 7:00 PM on October 30th.
"Fun to Share" is held under the theme of "Sharing the joy of food with others," and this 11th event will focus on garlic. Garlic is a versatile ingredient used in cuisines around the world, but it rarely plays a central role. Chef Yasushi Ishikawa will offer a variety of garlic-infused dishes. The final dish will be Kihachi-style garlic steak rice.
The participation fee is ¥7,000, including food, free wine, and service charge. Reservations can be made online or by phone, and applications will close once the maximum capacity of 40 people is reached.
Fun to Share will set a theme each month and offer playful dishes and presentations that are a little different from the usual. So far, events have been held on themes such as prosciutto, vegetables, cheese and wine, and tapas and curry, and the event is becoming so well established that, depending on the event, more than half of the attendees are repeat attendees.
