Exhibition of Eiichi Ohtaki's CD illustrator Hiroshi Nagai to be held at Shibuya Tokyu Main Store

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of Tokyu Department Store, the "HIROSHI NAGAI EXHIBITION: Nagai Hiroshi Art Exhibition" by illustrator Hiroshi Nagai will be held at the 3rd Floor Event Salon of Tokyu Department Store's main store in Shibuya, Tokyo, from October 23rd. Nagai, known for his artwork on the cover of Eiichi Ohtaki's "Long Vacation," will display original drawings of his favorite works from throughout his career, as well as collaborative items with next-generation creators who show his respect for Nagai. The exhibition will feature new original drawings based on the "Shibuya" motif, created specifically for the exhibition. Approximately 70 original drawings and reproduction prints will be on display and for sale. New merchandise, including miscellaneous items like T-shirts and clear files, as well as stationery, will also be available for pre-sale at the venue. Born in Tokushima City in 1947, Nagai worked as a graphic designer before becoming a freelance illustrator in 1978. He is active in a wide range of fields, including illustrations for Eiichi Ohtaki's album covers and AOR compilation CDs, as well as design, music criticism, FM radio personality, and DJing.
