Mercedes-Benz Japan held "UNVEIL," a launch party for the new S-Class Coupe, the company's top-of-the-line sporty coupe, on October 10th. Approximately 500 guests flocked to the Mercedes-Benz Connection showroom in Roppongi to catch a glimpse of the new coupe. Guests from a wide range of industries, including actress and model Jerra Mariano, talent and model Anmika, model Kelly, talent and actress Miho Yoshioka, musician Kiyoharu, and talent and model Marie, attended the celebration. A red carpet greeted the guests, and performances such as a surprise live performance by Mari Natsuki, pole dancing, and contortion dancing provided a glimpse of the sensual world the new coupe will bring. This marks the return of the S-Class Coupe brand name after an 18-year hiatus. Based on the concept of "modern luxury and intelligence," the existing top-of-the-line coupe, the CL-Class, has undergone a full model change. In addition to pursuing the ultimate coupe form, the special LED high-performance headlights are equipped with 47 Swarovski crystals on each side. It is the world's first practical implementation of a safety driving support system linked to radar and cameras.
