Ambra Meda appears at Roger Vivier party. Rainbow collaboration bag unveiled.

Oct 6, 2014

Roger Vivier held a cocktail party in Paris on September 30th. The boutique featured a window display made of oversized "U-Look" buckles, which served as cocoons to hold limited-edition Larcobaleno bags. Colorful ceramic "Miss Viv" figures were displayed like artworks throughout the store, while "Stiletto Spheres" and "Miss Viv" mobiles suspended from metal elements swayed rhythmically. Brand ambassador Ines de la Fressange and creative director Bruno Frisoni invited this season's muse, Ambra Medda, as the main guest. The limited collaboration bag with Umbra, "Miss Viv Arcobaleno," which was unveiled this time, is named after the Italian word for "rainbow" (L'ArcoBaleno), and is made with rainbow-colored sequins, satin, and silver metal details to represent a rainbow. It is also the name of the website she runs. There are only 30 bags available worldwide, two of which will be released in Japan on October 18th. The price is 450,000 yen.

Actress Catherine Deneuve, model Aymeline Valade, actress Bai Baihe, ballerina Aurelie Dupont, photographer Gilles Bensimon, editor Hamish Bowles, actress Karin Viard, blogger Leandra Medine, and actress Zoe Felix were among those in attendance to celebrate the collaboration.
